The Premier's particularly significant shift on the UK's after-Brexit connections to the European Union on Saturday was crafted to signal to industry, to EU officials, and to European partners, alongside his party members.

A New Process for Relations

Its internal research indicated that a majority of companies surveyed felt that the UK-EU trade deal was impeding business expansion.
